Week 18 2023…

 Yooo what is goooood yall!! Kinda dope I got a whole year that is completely full with missionary work!! 2022 was fun and all but it's time to get to work baby!

Jess got baptized!! So Flippin hype! God is so awesome and it was so cool to see how he changed her and helped her out of the dark place she was in!! He still continuing to help her too! What's not hype is she wanted me to confirm her on Sunday haha. But it was hype and super cool experience for me! The priesthood is actually so lit like between the priesthood power and the book of mormon  there is seriously no way I could every deny the truthfulness and power that they hold. My testimony just grows stronger and stronger each day out here. God is truly so good!

Got transfer news and I'm still with the same comp and same area for another 6 weeks so woooo! I'll let yall decide if that's sarcastic or not lol. God's plan fr fr, just learning to trust in his ways.

We were seeing some people in the projects and one of my homies saw us and was Iike come play football with me. So I played football with him for like 30 minutes ahaha! My comp was just talkin with the mom outside the whole time. Definitely was one of the highlights out here for me. Took me back to when me and my brothers would play in our backyard with all the neighbor kids. Such good times fr!!

They are white washing the Zone Leaders which means they are bringing in completely new ones. I'm a little bummed cuz I got super tight with them and they were just some solid guys. But I looked up one of the new ZLs on Facebook and we got a couple mutual friends and I'm very curious on how he knows them so it'll be hype to talk with him and see all that. He's from down in provo area something like that.

Basically what I've been learning for a while and it kinda hit me this week was the people who seem to be a burden to you and seem to annoy you are not obstacles in your path, they are just people who need to be loved. I think my homie pres Monson said something like that and it hit me pretty hard. So basically guys you just gotta love, it's definitely not easy to do but it's simple. That's what I love about this gospel. It is so simple. It aint easy but it's simple. There's my lil spiritual thought for the week

Also if yall are on elder ropers email he talked about the best way to deal with your problems are on your knees. I just agree with that so much cuz its so so true and very simple. Your struggling? On your knees. You need help? On your knees. Literally just so much help can be received by spending time on your knees and talking with God! So shout out to ma boy elder Roper for that fire thought!!

Yo yo yo what the flip is up everyone!! Hope you all are doing so good and just lovin life. Week 8 Rednecks, Big Trucks, & Baptists…

Yo yo yo what up everyone!!! I hope you all are doing well! The title of this email is about all I come in contact with out here in Fort Payne ahaha! All is well and I'm truly so grateful for the opportunity to be out here! I don't wanna bore you all with everyone I'm teaching and everything so imma just say a couple things about a couple people and if you wanna know more feel free to message me on messenger! So we roll up to shyannes crib and elder pay gives a fire home blessing and she started crying during it which was so sick! We set an appointment to meet with her again, long story short she called us literally a minute after the lesson crying and said to not come back to her house. Week 5 General Conference and Reassignment!…

What up homies!!! Hope all is well with you all! This was my first ever general conference where I watched all the sessions, took notes, and had questions beforehand! Let me tell you, I have been missing out on a lot of opportunities to feel the spirit and receive revelation from conferences growing up. Don't worry mom that's not your fault, you tried to get me to do all that I was just too stubborn to do so ahahah. I seriously was so overwhelmed by every single person that spoke. It's insane like they just be up there spittin straight doctrine. One of my favorite quotes that stood out to me was from Elder Jorge F. Zeballos and it says "Let us leave judgement in the Lord's hands and those he has commissioned and be content to love and treat each other the best we can."
