Week 8 Rednecks, Big Trucks, & Baptists…
Yo yo yo what up everyone!!! I hope you all are doing well! The title of this email is about all I come in contact with out here in Fort Payne ahaha! All is well and I'm truly so grateful for the opportunity to be out here!
I don't wanna bore you all with everyone I'm teaching and everything so imma just say a couple things about a couple people and if you wanna know more feel free to message me on messenger!
So we roll up to shyannes crib and elder pay gives a fire home blessing and she started crying during it which was so sick! We set an appointment to meet with her again, long story short she called us literally a minute after the lesson crying and said to not come back to her house. We came to the understanding her husband was the cause of this and made her do it cuz she was so down and was getting so hyped. But oh well hopefully she'll change her mind
We've been teaching David for a little bit and he's on date for the 29th and he's your typical construction worker who has no feelings and smokes and drinks a lot. Anyways he's been super hyped to be baptized and to stop smoking and stuff. We gave him a pamphlet and he said he woke up in the middle of the night and felt like he was being poked to read the pamphlet. He read it and was gassed up and is on the track to be baptized. It's really sad but really cool because his grandma just passed away sadly and we were teaching him about temples and families and told him he would be able to be baptized for his grandma in the temple! He started crying and was touched. It was so sick!
There's a bunch others and a lot more to say but I don't wanna bore any of you so like I said before text me on messenger to know more ahaha! This gospel is truly so amazing and I'm so grateful for the savior and his atoning sacrifice for all of us!
Everyone reading this tell your mom right now you love her so much!
I love you all and hope all is well!!
