Week 13 yurrr…

Yo yo yo what is up everyone! Havent really sent out an email for a week or 2 but hope you all are doing well! 

The little kids out here are a different breed, theres been like 3 different times where we have been teaching a lesson and the little homie comes stomping in and just goes mike Tyson mode on the mom or dad, literally they just punch them right in the face. Its funny tho cuz the parents just say "boy imma whip yo..." I cant finish that cuz I'm a missionary but they say that and go and discipline the child in the other room and all I can hear is screaming ahaha but its just wild

These last 2 weeks were pretty good, some fire lessons and some fire people progressing. There have been a couple roadblocks tho that have stopped some of our friends from entering into the waters of baptism but christ is working through them and helping them continue on that path.

Not much else to say kinda forgot a lot but one thing I will say is how IMPORTANT it is to have the CONSTANT companionship of the holy ghost with us at all times. I always thought oh when I'm a missionary ill be chillin, ill always have that constant companionship. I was highly mistaken ahaha. I have learned that the spirit is extremely extremely sensitive and it is so so CRUCIAL to have with us. Ive learned that If you bear testimony with the spirit it will prick the heart of the person being taught, and if you say the exact same testimony without the spirit, it will not have that effect. Even tho its the exact same words, without the spirit it does not help that person feel anything. I hope this makes sense it has just been something that I have realized and continuing to realize out here. i can see the blessings that come from obedience and its too important not to have.

Yo yo yo what the flip is up everyone!! Hope you all are doing so good and just lovin life. Week 8 Rednecks, Big Trucks, & Baptists…

Yo yo yo what up everyone!!! I hope you all are doing well! The title of this email is about all I come in contact with out here in Fort Payne ahaha! All is well and I'm truly so grateful for the opportunity to be out here! I don't wanna bore you all with everyone I'm teaching and everything so imma just say a couple things about a couple people and if you wanna know more feel free to message me on messenger! So we roll up to shyannes crib and elder pay gives a fire home blessing and she started crying during it which was so sick! We set an appointment to meet with her again, long story short she called us literally a minute after the lesson crying and said to not come back to her house. Week 5 General Conference and Reassignment!…

What up homies!!! Hope all is well with you all! This was my first ever general conference where I watched all the sessions, took notes, and had questions beforehand! Let me tell you, I have been missing out on a lot of opportunities to feel the spirit and receive revelation from conferences growing up. Don't worry mom that's not your fault, you tried to get me to do all that I was just too stubborn to do so ahahah. I seriously was so overwhelmed by every single person that spoke. It's insane like they just be up there spittin straight doctrine. One of my favorite quotes that stood out to me was from Elder Jorge F. Zeballos and it says "Let us leave judgement in the Lord's hands and those he has commissioned and be content to love and treat each other the best we can."
